Eight new born pups above

Here are some cute pictures of the new pups at varying ages (days)! Boy how fast they change!

Day one June 1, 2007 .	Day two Every one relaxing. Notice how the pups have silver stripes when born. And how long their tails are!  One of the boys is resting on his back next to mom's tummy.
Day three Cuddling with mom in the afternoon after having their tails docked and dew claws removed.  It went well and all are fine!	Day four This cute little boy found his way to mom's arms for a nap!!  He is the same one in the picture above who is resting on his back!
Day four This big girl just couldn't be left out.  She took over the position left by her brother just after he decided to leave!  She is one of the girls that just loves to cuddle!
One Week Old!!! At one week old there just isn't enough room for all to belly up to the bar!! The pups have now doubled their birth weight and sometimes have to nurse in shifts, the smaller ones nurse first and the biggies last. This way, at the end of each day they end up gaining about the same weight. (The pups get weighed every night to make sure all are gaining)  Notice that each pup has a different colored collar.
